Secret No 1 - A perfect skin surface
"From one day to the next, all models can have irregularities in their complexions or some defect that needs to be hidden,” says Evangelista, “Make-up artists always have a foundation primer, a ‘magic wand’ formula that instantly gives a perfect skin texture.”
There are two products in the STUDIO SECRETS PROFESSIONAL range designed to deliver a perfect skin surface: the L’Oréal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Smoothing Resurfacing Primer ($39.95) and Anti-Shine Mattifying Primer ($37.95).
Kaliardos says, “Apply the Smoothing Resurfacing Primer on the shadowy areas of the face (like the lower contour of the eye) and on the least smooth areas such as the forehead, the sides of the nostrils and around the mouth. "Studio lighting is very unforgiving,” says Evangelista, “Everything shows up: little red patches on the skin, signs of fatigue, faces that are lacklustre and worn. Fortunately, make-up is there to harmonise the complexion and make it flawless. No need to panic – it’s child’s play. You just need the right tubes of colour – and then you can work miracles!"
