Secret No 4 – Glorious Eyes
"All the great studio make-up artists have their favourite technique for making up the eyes,” says Evangelista, “If you look at them in action, you see that a well-placed pencil line and a judiciously chosen eyeshade can give the eyes a whole new dimension.”
To create intensity and give the gaze spectacular focus make-up artists draw on the rules of colormetry, whereby a colour is enhanced by associating it with its complementary colour. For example, the complementary colour to green is mauve, so to make green eyes really look their most gorgeous enhance them with a deep purple or plum shade. To enable every woman to intensify her eyes easily and with amazing effect, Studio Secrets Professional provides a whole range of eyeshadows based on these rules of colormetry.
